A change is inevitable, isn't it? I have to stop and move on from there. Sometimes, there is a reason why things don't happen. Likewise, a reason behind things we can't name it as ours. As what stated in Surah Al Baqarah [2:216], fighting has been enjoined upon you while it is hateful to you. But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah knows, while you know not.
Translation: "boleh jadi kamu membenci sesuatu sedangkan ia baik untukmu dan boleh jadi kamu menyukai sesuatu sedangkan ia buruk untukmu. Allah mengetahui sedangkan kamu tidak."
Besides, isn't it relatable to life - the way we live? How do we want to live life? In general, I believe most would say, to live life happily. But what kind happiness do we find it as "happy"? Having to get a degree or masters? Having to live life in a house with pool and garden? Having to secure a job with a monthly $10,000 salary? or perhaps, having to establish your name to the world?.....
Well, happiness vary, don't they? Holy book says happiness is when you are near to the Al-mighty, especially when you bow down on the ground mat, bringing all your egos, self-centeredness etc down and embrace yourself solely only to Him. That's when you'll feel how lowly you are as a human being. If its not for his Mercy, you'll gain nothing as what you have so far.
Kita merancang, tetapi tuhan yang menentukan.
As a human, we can only plan. But whether could it be executed is determined by Him.
Kun Faya Kun from Him, thus it will
Be and It is. Hence, nothing or no one can prevent it from happening.
We'll never know what and how future will lead us to. We may say No for now, but we can never be sure if that No would be a Yes in times to come. One may see it as impossible but for all we know, nothing is impossible if He determines it to happen. There are list of things inside of me which I wish for them to happen and they are partly impossible to achieve as what I foresee. But.... I never know, we never know.
Back to happiness, I feel that knowing and seeing other's happiness is partly what happiness is. Sometimes we tend to be in crossroads - should we take that road, it might cause wounds to hearts around. Else, it will create on ours, on the other hand.
Being in the 'blindspot' facade, we can never predict the intensity of their wound but we know it will leave them with scars. As for ourselves, i believe we can gauge the degree of the effect on us. And that, we can learn to pacify ourselves that everything would be alright.
Hence, sometimes wounding ourselves, just so others are spared by it can be a happiness too :) Similar to how we give help to the needies. It's how we perceived it to be...
Nevertheless, as mentioned above, as a human, we can only plan, but whether could it be executed is determined by Him.....
